pediment, fluted side columns, the trunk
with glazed door, plain plinth and
bracket feet, the movement striking on
one and chiming on eight tubular gongs,

circa 1820, the 14in. arched silvered dial
signed Jonathon Smith, London, with
foliate pierced brass spandrels decorated
with masks and dolphins, subsidiary
seconds dial, Tempus Fugit in the arch,
the eight-day movement bell striking, the
hood with swan-neck pediment and
Corinthian side columns, the waist door
with scallop top and spiral fluted side
columns, with a deep plinth and on
bracket feet, glass panel cracked, 239cm.;

arched dial, gong striking, with
strike/silent in the arch and gilt putto
spandrels, the hood, trunk and plinth
heavily carved with leafage.

painted with a young girl and her dog
and signed Worthington, Burton Street,
with subsidiary seconds dial and date
aperture, the hood with heavy swan-neck
pediment and baluster columns, the waist
door with shaped top and side columns,

columns, the trunk with moulded arch

dial signed Benjn. Lockwood, Swaffham,
with pierced foliate spandrels, subsidiary
seconds dial and date aperture,
strike/silent dial in the arch, the centre
with scroll engraved decoration, the
hood with topped pediment and plain
pilasters, having arch-topped trunk door
and on moulded plinth with bracket feet.

An ebonised oak Longcase Clock,
with a Win. square brass dial signed Oba’h. Body, Battle, with cast rocaille spandrels, the matted centre engraved with swallows, with a 30-hour bell

striking movement, the case with plain hood, trunk and plinth, 198cm.; 78in., with one weight and pendulum.

with a painted arched dial indistinctly
signed, with floral spandrels, subsidiary
date and seconds dials, moon phase in
the arch, the eight-day movement now
gong striking, in a swan-neck
pedimented hood with inlaid panels, the
trunk door inlaid and banded, on a

weights and pendulum.

subsidiary seconds dial and date
aperture, moon phase and lunar
calendar in the arch, with foliate scroll
spandrels, the eight-day movement bell
striking, the hood with scroll pierced
frets and plain columns, with shaped-top
trunk door, banded borders, fluted side
pilasters and on a deep plinth with
chamfered corners, 214cm.; 84in., with

date aperture, with foliate spandrels, the
30-hour movement striking on a bell, the

with a Win. brass dial, cast scroll
spandrels, scroll engraved centre,

the door with lacquered Chinoiserie

banding and turned columns, with triple-pointed trunk door having fruitwood stringing, chamfered corner and with dark rosewood inlay, on deep plinth and

a 13in. brass arched dial, the silvered
chapter ring signed John Barrow, London,
with cast mask spandrels, matted centre
and turned winding squares, with winged
putto and coronet in the arch, the
eight-day movement now with gong
striking, the arched hood with brass ball
finials and with plain side columns, the
trunk door with ribbed mouldings and
featherband inlays, on a plain plinth,
restoration and alterations, 237cm.; 93in.,
with two weights, pendulum and winder.

An oak Longcase Clock, circa 1780 the 12in. square brass dial signed Atkinson, Ormskirk, with silvered chapter ring, foliate and scroll pierced spandrels,

the centre scroll engraved, the eight-day movement with bell strike, the hood with swan-neck pediment, pierced scroll frieze and plain side columns, the

trunk door with shaped top, inlaid banding and on moulded plinth with bracket feet.

A good Dutch marquetry Longcase Clock, circa 1730, now with an eight-day bell striking movement signed Markwick Markham, London, cast gilt mask spandrels and

dolphins in the arch flanking the signed strike/silent dial, date aperture and seconds dial, matted centre, the arched hood with foliate inlaid bands and

brass finish, caddy top, the slender trunk with canted corners and inlaid with birds, leafage and foliate clusters, lenticle, on a deep plinth and bun feet,

252cm.; 99in., with two weights and pendulum, winder and case key.

cast mask spandrels, the matted centre engraved with a Tudor rose, turned winding holes, the hood with pierced foliate frieze, barley-twist side columns, the

door with fruitwood stringing, the trunk door with glazed lenticle and on moulded plinth, 204cm.; 80in., with pendulum and two weights.
